First Church Guilford to Assist in Resettling an Afghan Family of Three

First Congregational Church of Guilford and Temple Beth Tikvah of Madison are pleased to help sponsor an Afghan family of three, arriving on January 25th.  Shoreline Interfaith Refugee Resettlement and Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services are co-sponsors of this resettlement.

The father is 31,  the mother is 24  and their son  is 2 years old.

First Church needs your help in this resettlement!  We need donations of apartment furniture and clothing for all three members of the family.  They will be living in an apartment in Branford which we have leased.  Please contact Debbie Peluse 203-430-5701 or if you have items to donate.

For those who wish to make a financial contribution to help in this resettlement, please send your check made payable to First Congregational Church of Guilford, 122 Broad St., Guilford, CT  06437.  On the memo line please write:  Afghan Family Resettlement 2018.  Thanks you, in advance, for your generosity.
